Hai sa nu-i zicem dependenta dar... luati o foaie de hartie in fata si enumerati cateva activitati care le faceti fara calculator. Sunt cam putine nu?
Atunci hai sa vorbim despre calculatoare.

WAN to LAN Throughput/numit si NAT/ WAN-LAN Durchsatz/Viteza Transfer WAN-LAN
Deci Viteza INTRARE-IESIRE Router, mai precis CANTITATEA de Date care poate fi prelucrata INTERN in ROUTER in unitatea de timp: SECUNDA
MBites/sec.
A NU se confunda cu WLAN/LAN, care in ordine, vine DUPA aceasta prelucrare deci reprezinta pe sfoara nodul urmator.


Este vorba de un aspect ESENTIAL la Router-e, care este in general TRECUT SUB TACERE.

In special la AVM FritzBox, nu am intalnit in nici-o specificatie, cati Mbit/sec poate sa aiba transferul-de-date de la WAN la LAN...
Aveti aici tot felul de Router WLAN, cu transferuri WLAN AC de 1300(5GHz)+ 300/450/turbo: 600Mbits/sec. (2,4 GHz).
Si mai spun si ca sunt CUMULATE benzile, deci hai sa zicem, 2700Mbits/sec. in simultan 5 GHz+2,4 GHz.

DAR: semnalul care ajunge la WLAN-ul teoretic AC de 1300MBits/sec. vine de undeva.
Si anume, tocmai de la acest WAN to LAN Throughput maximal cam peste 900 MBits/sec.


Si trecerea este mai ingusta, maximal 1000 MBits/sec./aici cateva peste 900 MBits/sec., dar de obicei 150- 450 MBits/sec. (Spun gurile rele, pentru ca AVM FritzBox TACE, asa cum am spus mai inainte).

Deci eu am un furtun de suprapresiune care este alimentat de o galeata de apa.

Si mai trebuie si MODEM, daca nu este integrat in.
Intre Router si modem-ul separat, avem asa-zisele LAN Ethernet fie si Gigabit/Ethernet, deci ar transfera 1000 MBits/sec.
Insa ADEVARUL ESTE:
ETHERNET CAT-7 cu RJ 41 transfera MAXIMAL 600 MBits/sec
.
Hai sa zicem: ai performanta TEORETICA in WLAN AC 1300, semnalul emis e acesta Access Pointt este receptionat de un Bridge, legat de computer cu Cablu Ethernet-7/600MBits/sec. Deci automat si TEORETIC pierdere de 700 MBits/sec., fara a mai calcula ATENUAREA si distorsiunile. (2,4 GHz e Banda suprasaturata, toti vecinii o au pe diferite aparate..parca si Mikrowelle/ Cuptorul de Microunde lucreaza ca in aceasta frecventa).


In paranteza fie spus:
Sa mai ai USB2 intr-un Router performant e de râsu-lumii...
Si sa te lauzi ca ai DDR3 256 MB...tot asa.
Sau procesor "performant" 2 kernel, 840MHz....

Cel putin la ASUS, cel cu MODEM VDSL2 integrat, sunt 2 procesoare, separate , dar utilizatorii pe AMAZON (cea mai corecta critica) spun ca INCALZESTE al naibii...




1. Pana atunci, DISCUTIA, pe un forum, chiar daca mai veche (2011, dar de fapt aici nu s-a schimbat nimic in atitudinea AVM) care arata ca NIMENI NU STIE ceva precis, rezultand logic: AVM/FritzBox NU DORESTE sa fie cunoscute datele esentiale, nu le publica in specificatiile tehnice:

The 7390 supports well in excess of 100Mbs wan to lan throughput & most users achieve around 95Mbs (less overheads) with the 100Mb plan.

Aici o exemplificare, cu un Router performant, la care WAN to LAN Throughput este peste 900 MBits/sec. (vide Tabelul in LINK-ul initial) dar va rog sa observati TEMPERATURILE, CPU si WLAN (2,4/5GHz):

Problema este si ramane: In 3x WLAN (1,5 GHz/2,4GHz/5GHz) 3xAC combinate dau TEORETIC 5300 Mbit/sec. (Furtunul de Suprapresiune) DAR cum ramane cu sursa, Galeata care-l umple adica WAN to LAN Throughput rata de transfer WAN-LAN, numita si NAT?
Sau este mai mare? Inca n-am gasit...

Ba da..am gasit tot aici:

Imi place Nota 1. In esenta, cumperi Router-ul, habar nu am cu cate sute de EUR, dar NU SI TOATA PERFORMANTA, pentru ca trebuie sa platesti in plus, abia dupa aceea beneficiezi de TOATE acceleratiile simultane:

Parca am mai citit: alimentarea (cu rezerva necesara) cca 19 V, 3 Amperi si ceva, deci consum cca 40-(56)W/Ora?


Exemplele ASUS date sunt ROUTER fara MODEM... adica RT












Si TOTUSI, intr-o analiza cu TESTE, concluzia este ca, chiar in cazul ADSL, ADSL2, VDSL, VDSL2, merita, intrucat viteza de prelucrare creste, cam de 4,5 ori, uneori si mai mult.
